Ecolab Indonesia team implements and continuously advocates the Ecolab Code of Conduct. All employees are required to complete Ecolab’s Code of Conduct training and certify their compliance with the code on an annual basis and training available in Bahasa.

Ecolab manages its global operations with concern health and safety environment, we have the obligation to always work safety, wear appropriate protective equipment for the job or task, avoid distractions while working or driving, report all injury incidents promptly and cooperate with safety-related investigations. There is safety assessment that can be accessed by all employees and they have the authority to stop work if safety is at risk.

1. Wellness & Welfare
We provide health insurance to all employee with families, reimbursable medical outpatient claims of general practitioner or specialist, and prescription drugs recommended by doctor. During pandemic, vitamins are reimbursable to increase immunity for employee’s health. Employees who working from office are allowed to claim taxi and not using public transportation to minimize COVID-19 exposure in public transportation.

The Ida C. Koran Trust (IDA KORAN) is a place for Ecolab employees and retirees to turn to in times of need. Ecolab Indonesia through IDA KORAN has been actively helped employees in need since 2015 until now. Financial assistance was provided to our employees and their families during forest fires in Sumatra and Lombok earthquake few years back, and for employee’s children who wish to pursue higher education. Understanding that the company's strength is within its team, Ecolab Your Voice Matter (YVM) event brought all employees across provinces to meet, share stories, appreciate, and collaborate showcasing the diversity of Indonesia. However, due COVID-19 hit, the engagement comes into virtual through breakout sessions or webinar, topic was varies about diversity and inclusion, health & family, and development.
