BenQ Materials Corporation was established in 1998 which includes around 2400 employees in the world. There are 4 different kinds of business at BenQ Materials Corporation including functional film, advanced battery materials, professional medical consumable and performance textile. And we even got the pride of Taiwan Excellence Award, Excellent Trading Businesses Award and German Red dot design Award.

We follow the rule of labor law. Therefore, we not only expand diversified path to select talents, but get every feedback and keep enhancing the experience of stakeholder through communication e-mail, president mail, HR feedback form on social platform, employee satisfaction survey, 360 degree feedback, factory forum and holding management and labor council.

In order to cultivate talent in the society, we keep going to have a good relationship with universities. For instance, we have signed the MOU with a lot of universities, operated Facebook fans page and provided scholarships for around 55 students. Also, we will have free online resume review plan in 2021. BenQ Materials Corporation hope to be the best career partner with students and job seekers.


Creating the friendly and healthy workplace

Vivid and open-minded culture is our characteristic. On the attendance system we provide have indirect labors to work flexible, paid leave in advance and “ Golden Week Vacation” to encourage all the employees arrange their vacation. About the compensation and benefits, we not only design the competitive salary system, but provide birthday and festival welfare points, holiday bonus, year-end performance bonus and annual bonus to share the glorious results with our employees.

Work-life balance is the goal we have advocated since 1998. Follow the original intention, we provide a series of benefit such as employee restaurant, preferential telegram number application, company product sales events, group merchandise staff purchase discounts, annual health check, health lecture, health knowledge EDM and physical therapy & unique massage.

In 2020, we prepared 360-degree employee health care and epidemic prevention bag to keep our employee away from covid-19. Also, in order to make them stay health and exercise, we hold the online team sport games and E-sports competition!

Besides, BenQ Materials Corporation encourage our employee to do anything they want to do after working. Therefore, we have the GYM, 9 kinds of different sport clubs and hold a series of sport games and buy the new fitness equipment regularly. Thus, we won the pride of Work Life Balance Award, Well-being Award, Taiwan I sport Award during the period.

Multiple talent development path

Cultivating internal talents is an important task for BenQ Materials Corporation. Thus, we have four kinds of training colleges about employee training including management courses, comprehensive training courses and professional courses.

In order to let junior staff know the culture value of BenQ Materials Corporation, we also hold core competency courses and Win camp regularly.

To encourage employees to keep learning, we also offer them training fee, and make them select the external E-course themselves. In 2020, we also set more internal online courses and trend lecture, importing external learning resources “ Leader Campus” and provide the scholarship for them to study higher degree.

There are totally 72 training courses in 2020. The average training hours of employees is 7.08 hours, and the average course satisfaction score is as high as 4.8 /5 points, and the amount of employees who apply the external training fee are 226, and the total external training fee is around 0.68 million.

Based on the persistence of employee training, we won the pride of the silver medal award of Talent Quality-management System in Taiwan.

Encouraging innovation happened forever and ever
In BenQ Materials Corporation, every employees have the right to do self-proposal and create their own value. In order to achieve the goal, we hold many kinds of innovative activities including cool idea campaigns which make employees think more different from the view of circular economy or future smart life, continuous improvement programs (CIP) which encourage them try to find the root cause to create practical benefits. And holding the BenQ Materials Corporation Award annually to praise the excellent employees to make them open possible.

Besides that, we also focus on the feeling of junior staff. Thus, we hold workshop to make them inquire actively and get the feedbacks from them through design-thinking. We wish that we can create the new life with our employees.
Community care, we go together
BenQ Materials Corporation focuses on the CSR. We have the system of voluntary holiday to encourage our employee do charity. For example, we invite our employees to join green party and science camp every year. And the contents of the activities are as follows:
  • Green party:
    the activity has been held for over 9 years. We use the vivid ecological tour mix the tree planting activities to hope our employees focus on the environment issue. As of 2020, the number of trees planted has exceeded 8,200.
  • Science camp:
    We corporate with local rural elementary and Taiwan Fund for Children & Families. Our employees can teach the local children to learn interested science with their professional skill. As of 2020, the camp has been held around 14 times and the number of children who participate in is over 470.

多元化人才培育管道

培育人才是明基材料重要的任務,公司設有四大學院,包含主管必修的管理學院以及針對員工職務而提供專業技能之3個專業學院訓練課程。為協助新進同仁快速融入職場,定期開設員工核心職能課程及新人動力營Win camp課程以協助其更加熟識公司文化。

為鼓勵同仁持續學習,公司也提供同仁訓練經費,開放同仁自選參加外部E-Learning進修,此外因應疫情也提高內部線上課程數、導入外部學習資源─天下創新學院,並定期召開前瞻趨勢講座以及員工進修獎學金等,提供同仁多元學習管道。

2020年度所規劃之總課程數為72堂、員工之平均受訓時數為7.08小時,課程平均滿意度高達4.8 /5分,申請外部訓練全額補助的人次為226人、總申請費用達68萬元。基於對教育訓練的堅持,明基材料也取得TTQS銀牌獎的認證,提供豐富的訓練資源給公司夥伴。

鼓勵創新、改善無止境
我們鼓勵每位員工都能自行提案創造屬於自己的價值,因此也於每年舉辦多項創新活動,包含鼓勵同仁進行創意發想的競賽─奇想營、讓同仁找出真因以創造具體效益的持續改善計畫─CIP,並於年末舉行真善美頒獎典禮表揚優秀的員工,鼓勵員工自我實現並勇於挑戰。

明基材料也相當重視新人關懷,定期開立新人工作坊,透過設計思考的方法,讓新人主動提問並針對可改善之處提供具體建議,希望能持續和員工一起創造我們的新未來。

社會關懷,一起向前行
肩負社會責任的明基材料,除了設置「有薪志工假」鼓勵同仁一同響應公益,每年也定期邀請同仁參加綠色嘉年華與賽恩斯科學營,其中活動內容如下說明:
  • (1)綠色嘉年華:連續舉行超過9年,運用有趣的生態導覽以及植樹活動,讓員工在與親友享受天倫之樂時也參與綠色行動,其中植樹數量截至2020年已超過8200棵。
  • (2)賽恩斯科學營:透過與偏鄉小學及當地家扶中心合作,讓員工運用自身專業帶領當地孩童學習有趣新奇的生活科學,截至2020年共計舉辦14個場次以及服務超過470個孩童。
