Sony Music Entertainment Taiwan Ltd. (SMET) is the Taiwan branch of the top global music entertainment company, Sonic Music. There are more than 200 music labels under Sony Music and over 50 branches covering different countries and regions. Sony Music is the most influential music company in the world. SMET is established in 1991. We were officially renamed SONY MUSIC Entertainment Taiwan Ltd. in 2009. Since then, we have been actively involved in non-profit activities and social welfare. We hope to give back to society with our company’s holistic efforts. Doing our best to assist people who need help. We look to not only benefit people who need help but especially those who are talented or interested in the music entertainment industry. Through our CSR program, we provide lessons and opportunities to future generations, marginalized communities and all who are talented and hope to get into the industry.

With our passion and professionalism in the music industry, we aim to provide new and creative music & entertainment content. As a company, SMET aims to elevate the Sony Music brand, distributing more quality music, increasing artists’ opportunities, and maintaining the growth of our digital market share.
